hi guys i know we all feel like this after today

but jiayou guys! we can do this!! let's practice a lot ya and keep positive mindset y'all have fun!
glad we arrived early cos we were trying to figure out which exactly was the correct 'main entrance' n hence we walked frm one entrance to another n were arguing that she was wrong n she wld be like I'm certain its this one. we ended up asking maam I guessed. I hope she didn't mind the spam

anyway char later told me the point we met at was the only main entrance but how was I supposed to know anyway
hmm we started off slightly later than 8. we got like 6 sheets of stickers. I got annoyed and tired of sticking them
so we urm positioned ourselves outside the mrt station heh. according to char it was a smart move ;) q a rare thing to be complimented on our choice hehe. more like Amanda's but still
we were q awkward at first. somewhat reminds me of open hse. n then we jus shamelessly approached ppl I guess. actually it wasn't that bad;it cld be fun. ppl did turn us down q a lot but a lot of ppl donated too. every time someone makes a donation it gives u a sense of satisfaction and happiness. every time I got a five dollar donation I wld go running to Amanda n she was like y r u reporting to me n she was kinda done w me I guess. she seemed pretty exasperated w my excitement but at least she didnt say it. at one point in time the tables turned n Amanda was the one telling me she got a ten dollar donation. she was telling me how shocked she was n her expression then which was funny. eh, whatever u think, we weren't competing, merely like updating each other heh.
I dunno if I'm weird but everytime someone donated u can see a yay imprinted on my face. I mean we get rejected a lot every donation was like a gift
the kids r so adorable. I mean like when they donate they are just sooo cute n the way they take the stickers r just aww. (that's why I/we prefer approaching families) n some wld like say thank you n stuff. n also bc parents were less likely to reject us. most of them wld like take out some money n give the kids to donate, or hv the kids use their pocket money. den the way they wld pick the sticker by colour was jus adorable

some ppl were rlyrly nice like they wld donate q a sum. lmao one of the funniest n interesting I encountered was a lady who donated a small plastic pouch full of five cent coins n she was like super apologetic. another one was a lady who donated all the coins she had, but she gave some to her husband and son to donate as well. then there was also this lady who donated a lot to both Amanda n I, saying so that we can pack up earlier.
there were ppl who were reading the words imprinted on my shirt?? like the ones at the back n okay they were talking like ''Victoria cedar alliance....'' n stuff like that. unfortunately, I hv sharp hearing. n unfortunately, Amanda's bag blocked out her words. there were ppl who enquired abt the sch n vca?? n there was this fam w young kids n they asked questions about cedar n then finally what pri sch I came frm. okayy...
there was this guy who asked me whr cedar was n I told him near potong pasir n he was like so far from here. Amanda was telling us she met someone who asked her if cedar was still a girls school.
the whole time we kinda didnt see anyone? we saw char aft we collected a new set of 6, but she fled when I asked her if she wanted to refill her sheets HAHA -_- n afterwards, nik n kavi. be4 tat we saw udhaya cuz she made a donation to us for stickers. very funny and weird, that girl
Amanda was like I don't see any maams n I was like why, u miss them? but she kept bugging me from time to time w tat observation but it wasn't annoying. anyway agreed tat it was kinda unsettling

special mention to jap's shoes, which were practically torn. her shoe(like one side) was like torn off from its base like wyd man HAHA n she was like ive worn it for only 1.5 mths. amazing. so we did rifle drills + knots n lashings ytd. we started off w rifle drills. our bangings were much more coordinated? some of us were still confused w the drills we learnt last wk so urm. some of us still confused w the basics?? like turning the wrong direction n stuff. but at least it was seldom. we still needed constant reminders to pull back rifles n drills need to be sharper. we also need to be more alert so as to not lag behind, and also not anticipate drills -_-why is it so commonly occurring. marching was tiring like the arms. n ppl kept dragging feet???
anyway 4 of us didn't lock our arms n we got caught so 400 more points yay. so excited.
anyway the court was wet and there were puddles everywhere. I always ended up standing near or on one lol. anyway when I sedia-ed once I splashed the water instead. It would have been fun if I was a lil kid who heck cares about wettin yourself n in rain boots. but since I wasn't, it wasn't fun. definitely not.
the ncc ppl were oso practising drills there so it was pretty distracting. no, I dun mean it tat way, I mean it was a strain listening our for the commands out of the din
hah okay so we had changing. target was 3 min 04 n for the first time this yr we didn't exceed. I mean for school skirt kind. the other kind I think we must have at least completed under timing once. It was 2 min 50 smth secs yay. I mean its not much but still yay? tho we still got skirts confiscated, n a few pairs of socks. -_- like we standardised it on the grp chat aldr -_- but its ok(actually its not)
ok n so we learnt knots n lashings. we were somewhat rusty bc we haven't done em in forever. I still knew how to tie but mine was somewhat loose. n we learnt a new lashing too :P ma'ams were rly patient

yah so this is abt ytd's parade, which well wasn't good. I'm jus gonna be v vague cuz I'm feeling vague atm
be4 parade started jap wanted to practice knots so she asked to use my finger. I was rewatching shadowhunters promo n what I didn't notice was jap was actually peeping on it too. she de interrupted me n asked what show it was cuz it looked v interesting. I nearly screamed from shock n thank goodness I wasn't watching anything improper, tho why I would watch improper stuff is another matter entirely n no I hv nvr watched anything improper for that matter. so yay tis is how I got another person into the fandom

we were late for parade. what a nice way to start
oni 9/10 ppl were here cuz heats but some joined ltr on
yea we had changing and we exceeded timing. when we were running to the toilet ppl were hving heats or ccas n we were jus running in like mad ppl n I heard some ppl were like whoawhoawhoa. we must hv looked like a crowd of stampeding elephants. ok ya I was one of the first to leave the toilet n somebody outside was saying whoa change so fast ah. in my mind I was like ahem its still not fast enough dude
I think it was the folding tat was problematic, cuz according to maams, we took 2.5 mins to fold. amazing isn't it?
so we had tent pitching. our target was 27 min but we exceeded yet again. the other team may possibly hv completed under timing but our team obvs did not. I personally confess tat I made a lot of mistakes this time round. sometimes I was jus there waitin to secure the knot instead of doing smth useful like tying the bowlines for the outer sheet or pegging the pegs for the outer sheet. stupid of me, if u ask. we also had a very common problem of needing extensions so we wasted q a lot of time there. the inner sheet took the longest like 17+ mins??
ok yea aft tat we had rifle drills so changing again. exceeded by close to a min.
rifle drills was slightly better but I wont oversay on tat. my hands were kinda slippery. some of us still transferring during rusuk I guess? n drills can be sharper(I'm thinking of sharpies now lol) if anything I think its still near ok-ok. and we learnt some new drills which were thoroughly confusing n ok it served a reminder to me how stupid I m cuz everyone was like they understood what maam was trying to teach us and me jus be like wait wait what no I don't geddit. I suppose I somewhat got it in the end, but I will but it in terms of a run. I m at the very end. do u get it? I'm still lagging behind
n maams came up w a game t help us I guess. it was pretty fun n effective I guess. so we had to close our eyes n do the new drills we learnt. but some were incorrect n we will be pulled out if we got it wrong till the last round standing. but lmao w nvr got to the last one standing cuz q a lot of us were still standing lol. q surprised tat I didn't get pulled out lol cuz I was still a bit blur.

okay turns out we really were in the wrong school so we quickly got back on the bus asap when it came back but anyway we were still q late. no wonder ppl were giving us weird looks back there

n when we sat down the sir was like pls take out a piece of foolscap n pen n our squad looking at each other. we oni brought our bottles, valuables n pen cuz we were told to do so, but no paper, n there will be a test, so we were screwed. one of the biggest 'oh shit's ever. no the one where jem found out abt will's love for Tessa is still the biggest yet
and I was pretty sure we were gonna fail cuz we missed some parts of the lecture and we cant take down notes to study. and alyssa was jus like be positive and okay it wasn't possible
anyway awhile thru the lecture the sir sitting in front of us was so nice n he was like do you girls need paper? n we were like yes sir n he jus gave us a whole stack. n we were jus vvv thankful.
and at some point in time another sir took over the lecture. n he made us do this 'excercises' first bcos according to him, 80% or more of us weren't paying attention. so there was a game of '80% or 20%' , and a hand exercise. I swear I cannot do it its so difficult omg
I did enjoy the course tbh
but I enjoyed the skit part more. so 2 schools will be picked. every school has to split up into teams
anyway char was in my team of 5 and someone from our squad's other grp was like come join us and I was thinking how dare you. ours was v lame so thank goodness our's wasn't picked. idk if we shd be happy cuz some ppl frm our squad's other teams actually wanted to participate
