1 more week till Artemis turns 1 !!!

 

OMG GUYS CAN YALL BELIEVE ITZ ALMOST OUR SQUAD'S ONE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY!! ONE MORE WEEK TILL 6 FEB SIOL!! Can't believe that 1 year 1 week ago, it was the first time we got to know each other and not to mention, first parade!!! When our np journey first began. It all started at that moment (wow fandom quote siol). Time flies so fast we r already sec 2 wowza. So we hv known each other for almost a year already...

super duper happy

HI GUYS

as you can tell, i'm super duper happy for Artemis and the whole of Cedar NPCC Unit

WE GOT GOLD !!! 

we all worked so hard for this. *me when ma'ams told us and still : cdwnndndkscodjjee what.

we lost the streak last year, but we regained it this year ! i'm really happy and proud of all of us ( ma'ams & Artemis ) we made Cedar proud. i really hope the new streak continues ! 

also, Artemis has really improved since 6 Feb. NEW AND IMPROVED
more are turning up for practices and squad recess/lunch, people are being more responsible and i think we are more bonded as a squad 

last weeks parade ( 29 Jan ) was bomb. well, we were late by a minute but the rest of the parade gave me life.

Firstly, we got GOLD 

Secondly, we learn a new drill ( kebelakang pusing on march ) and our bangings were so much better. *berets also much well-seasoned than before

Thirdly, it was because of endurance run

We exceeded our goal of 12 rounds in 20minutes and got an average of 17 rounds !! Ma'am and Deon was so fast, they did like 21 rounds

But overall, i really enjoyed parade. ( i hope we can have more endurance run )

Our squad is suddenly so enthu omygosh "im lovin it" lol. Heard they intend to jog tgt tdy idk if they did it. More ppl r turning up 4 squad lunch kewl and yea we intend to hv practice sessions this week. And yay relations between the squad is improving so far letz keep it upsieee!! Feelin' so high tdy even idk why yay first joke comin up tmr. Tryna keep it so active is fun but ends up posting crap.

Friday's Parade (29 Jan)

Omygosh the squad did so well this week so pround of them yay(sounds wrong sia cuz dun feel liek I'm in a position to say so). We fell in a minute late this week cuz we stood around 4 too long when we arrived early. Gotta chage that & it's possible!! You know what?? Ma'ams told us OUR UNIT GOT GOLD this year omygosh yayyy. Words can't say how happy our squad is now woop!! Such good news. We learnt a new drill too and it's Ke Belakang Pusing on march!! However, it's kinda confusing so we will need to practice more often on our own so yea. We have improved on our drills overall as we didn't really get confused between certain drills no more and we have gotten better on the 2 new drills we learnt last week yasss. After this was our FIRST EVER ENDURANCE!! (psps I don't participate so idk how it felt) We changed into our pt kit (?) and went to the 4th floor. We were supposed to run 12 rounds in 20 min. Most of us exceeded the goal so good job!! And most of us tried not to walk and persevered and cheered each other on. Quite good for a first try, as quoted by ma'ams (they were rly nice to us). Okay then after that debrief then cca over. Keeping this quite shot so that u can catch the main points and bc I'm lazy too. K bye have fun reading this. However, we still need to improve our changing timing so that we do not keep on exceeding!!

okay we started off to a bad start by falling in 1 min late cuz we spent alot of time jus standing at where our bags are so we must keep proper track of time next parade !!

and aft roll call and inspection we had DRILLLSSS
WE LEARNT A NEW DRILLS TDY WEEEE !! actually we also learnt a new drills last parade oops hurhurhur anyways, we learnt Ke Belakang Pusing on march !!! so, we're supposed to follow TLV to do this drill (i'll insert a pic to show how its done) the timing is Check, 1, 2, 3, *Bang*

last week, we learnt a new drill toooo :) we learnt pandang ke kenan and pandang ke kiri on march yayyyy !! so basically, pandang ke kenan is to tilt ur head right, while pandang ke kiri is to tilt ur head left, everybody is supposed to tilt their heads EXCEPT for the person at the most right of the squad of whichever direction we're marching and the timing is check, den u tilt ur head to whichever direction you're supposed to tilt to :)

OH AND THIS IS MY FAV PART OF PARADE CUZ THIS IS WHERE WE MADE MA'AMS PROUD !!!!!!! ENDURANCE RUNNNNN WEEEEEE

okay so, we survived TWO, okay let me repeat, TWO weeks of sch OMYYYYY SHOCKINGGGG (for me uh) i srsly tot i wud hv DIED learning year 2 shit, but surprisingly, i didnt !! YET. 

anyways, congrats guys *this is for some ppl i think uk who u are :D* rly, 2 weeks of sch with all the handling of squad problems gg on we managed to pull thru (i think we did ??) lets continue to try and help weeee (IM HIGH IF U CANT RLY SEE FROM MY SNAPCHAT AHAHHAAHAHA)

ok lets be serious .

so last 2 parades were..very meaningful and important actually. We learnt alot of important points that will definitely help us improve ourselves. 

Communication:

A point we really need to improve on. I feel like some of Artemis needs to 'speak up' even though the questions asked seems stupid because that's the only way we can clear up doubts. Also, do not alter the information you have because it's very important that all of us know the original situation.

Responsibility: 

Everyone of us has to be responsible for our own 'stuff'. We cannot always depend on some people to get things for us. As they try their best to help, we need to try our best to improve ourselves too.

Attitude: 

Even though NP is not the cca we chose to be in, it is our duty to ensure that NP continues to be the best. We cannot expect everything to go our way. Our attitude will affect the unit as a whole, and even the school. We must try to answer the important questions raised in the gc in order to reduce conflicts. 

Hope for Artemis to really change for the better and do ourselves proud.
